Impact investing platform (web & mobile)

Problem: Investing is complex and often supports industries misaligned with user values, like tobacco or weapons manufacturing.
Solution: Swell allowed everyday users to build customized investment portfolios focused on doing good while growing wealth.

Swell was one of the first consumer platforms to bring personalized impact investing to a broader audience. It provided a seamless experience across both web and mobile, allowing users to invest in causes they care about such as clean energy and gender equality.

As a senior UX and UI designer, I worked directly with senior leadership to shape product strategy, define key features, and turn roadmap items into detailed, developer-ready specs. I led the design for major product areas including onboarding, portfolio customization, support content, and the overall mobile app experience. I also partnered closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth implementation and delivery.
